The
course of decorative paint effects on walls has
a duration of 63 hours distributed over 9 days running for a minimum
of 6 partecipants and a maximum of 10 partecipants.
Previous experience is not necessary.

THE SCHOOL WILL PROVIDE |

tempera, oil, acrylic, synthetic and water paint
- Tools:
brushes, filling knives, sponges, goose feathers
- Various
masking material
- Cutting
knives and paper

material such as plaster boards, timber boards, clay if possible

Oral
tuitions:
- Introduction
to the materials typical of decorative effect on wall
- Type
of pigments and preparation of basecoats
- Analysis
of material to be painted in relation to paint technique to be
used: walls, timber, plaster board, clay, laminated, iron and
decorative mouldings in plaster or gesso
Practical
tuitions:
- Exercises
in the correct preparation of basecoats: Bologna's gesso, Meudon
gesso, kaolin, rabbit-skin glue, strong glue
- Decorative
friezes, ornaments, imitation marble, imitation timber, fabrics
previously prepared by the student
- Shading
on gesso frames
- Gilding
with gold powder on low and high relief
All
work carried out during this course belong to the student

FEE |
The
fee for the decorative paint course is Eur 1100,00 exclusive of taxes
(VAT 21%).
Lodging Service: all courses are available inclusive of accomodation
costs ("B&B
Sassarello")
on request for all the duration of the course.
